Apache Junction Public Art Commission meets Aug. 10

Discussion on a work plan, including conducting an inventory of public artworks with a photograph, name of artist, name of art, date of installation, location and medium, is a topic at the Apache Junction Public Art Commission’s 6 p.m. Aug. 10 meeting at the Council Chambers, 300 E. Superstition Blvd.
The strategic work plan is to support the longterm goal of incorporating public art in the City of Apache Junction.
Other items on the agenda include:
Announcement of art work seen by commission members.
Website status and GIS viewers.
Inventory forms and maps.
Direction to staff regarding items to place on the next regular meeting agenda.
