Apache Junction police are investigating a fatal "road rage" shooting Sunday night, authorities said.

Jordan Toro, 41, was found shot near 21st Avenue and Vista Road, police said.

Toro and another driver were on U.S. 60 before exiting on Tomahawk.

Police said the other driver stayed at the scene after the shooting.

No arrests have been made, and police reported they are working with the Pinal County Attorney’s Office on potential charges.

A spokesman for the PCAO said the office had no information as of Monday morning, Dec. 12.
