Apache Junction Police Department investigation leads to sexual assault conviction

An Apache Junction Police Department investigation has led to a 32.5-year prison sentence for Halko Zangana, 45, who was convicted of five counts of sexual assault and five counts of sexual conduct with a minor involving a 15-year-old girl.

Zangana was sentenced Oct. 12. The case stems from an August 2024 incident.
