A $5,000 assessment may be levied against 130 residential lots in an area of south Apache Junction if approved Sept. 1 by the Superstition Vistas Community Facilities District No. 2 board.
The CFD board, made up of Apache Junction City Council members, meets Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers, 300 E. Superstition Blvd. to in part vote on a resolution approving the levying of an assessment and diagram for Area No. 5 within the district to pay for public infrastructure with bonds.
Area No. 5 is generally on the northwest corner of Blossom Rock Trail and Ray Avenue. The bonds will help pay for 3,639 linear feet of Blossom Rock Trail improvements with landscape installed within the raised median, at the back of the curb to the detached sidewalk and within adjacent tracts, according to a city document.
