Paying more than $5.8 million for design and construction administration of a proposed $67 million city services expansion in south Apache Junction will be considered by the city council in September.
The $5,805,795 professional services agreement with Arrington Watkins Architects LLC will be voted on during the meeting that begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, in the council chambers, 300 E. Superstition Blvd.
The fee includes the comprehensive design and construction administration services necessary for a police substation, branch library, maintenance building and yard, community park, lake and parking on 22 acres at Ironwood and Horton drives, Trina Harrison, the city’s capital improvement plan program manager, said at an Aug. 4 council meeting.
