Sunland Asphalt & Construction will be paid more than $1.3 million for the reconstruction and paving of Lost Dutchman Boulevard between Ironwood Drive and Meridian Drive in Apache Junction.
The Apache Junction City Council on Oct. 6 voted 6-0 to approve a $1,353,113.47 contract with Sunland as part of a consent agenda with other items. Councilmember Darryl Cross was absent.
The work is through a 1 Government Procurement Alliance cooperative contract and includes a 10% contingency for unforeseen change orders.
