LON’s at The Hermosa Inn 'most romantic restaurant' on OpenTable

LON’s at The Hermosa Inn has received two new accolades from OpenTable.

For the fourth consecutive year, LON’s at the Hermosa has been named by OpenTable one of the Top 100 Brunch Restaurants in America for 2024 in addition to being named one of the 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America for 2024 in February. OpenTable is a leading provider of online restaurant reservations, according to a press release.

Featuring restaurants from coast-to-coast, across 29 states and Washington, D.C., the Top 100 Brunch Restaurants list is a comprehensive look at the best brunch spots in the country culled from more than 14 million verified diner reviews of over 30,000 restaurants in 50 states and Washington, D.C.

Beginning May 27 through Sept. 1, LON’s celebrates the lazy days of summer with Every Day brunch, offered from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., the release shared. Perfectly crafted for diners who crave sweet, savory or brunch-is-actually breakfast items, the Every Day brunch menu will feature two new items, strawberry pancakes with whipped cream and smashed chorizo torta, in addition to its signature favorites including sizzling bacon and house-made monkey bread.

Originally hand-crafted in the 1930s by cowboy artist Lon Megargee as his private residence and art studio, LON’s is celebrated for its globally-inspired Arizona fare and award-winning wine list. The ruggedly handsome dining room exudes the resort’s luxury desert feel using traditional Southwestern architecture, adobe bricks, wood beams, hand-painted Mexican tile and many one-of-a-kind embellishments reflecting its artistic heritage.

The patio, renowned for its colorful flowerbeds, desert flora, trickling fountain, twinkling lights and wood-burning fireplace, boasts views of nearby Camelback Mountain, while the underground wine cellar can seat up to 12 guests at a rustic trestle table surrounded by arched ceilings of 1890s Chicago brick and reclaimed wood beams.
