Music fills Glendale library for rest of March
Folk group plays this weekend

The Mill Ave Chamber PLayers make their return to the Glendale Main Library the night of March 28.

The main Glendale Library, 5959 W. Brown St., will play host to two music performances before the month ends.
These concerts are:
A Sunday Afternoon of Music: Thorn & the Rose and Half Way Home
from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 17
Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with an afternoon of music with Thorn & the Rose and Half Way Home. Relax to the Celtic folk and flute of Thorn & the Rose, made up of husband-and-wife duo Doug and Barbara Barnett and friend Jim Whitaker.
Half Way Home rounds out the afternoon with fiddle, guitar, and lots of harmony as husband-and-wife duo Dave Baumann and Barbara Herber share traditional folk and songs from the contemporary singer-songwriter catalog.
Live @ the Library with the Mill Ave Chamber Players is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 28 in the Main Library auditorium
Mill Ave Chamber Players returns to the library to celebrate works by underrepresented composers, including William Grant Still, Arturo Marquez, Valery Coleman and more.
Bring the family for the show. This concert is funded by a city of Glendale performing arts grant.
