De Paul Manor will add 100 transitional beds this summer for unhoused seniors, veterans and adults living with disabilities, Phoenix officials said.

The partners, who were represented recently at a ribbon cutting for the project, include the city, St. Vincent de Paul, Maricopa County and the Arizona Department of Housing.

Besides housing, the facility will also have an animal clinic to provide care for the pets of people experiencing or at risk of homelessness and a work force development program with a training center.

Phoenix, Maricopa County and the Arizona Department of Housing each invested $6 million in the project, which is expect to open this summer.
