The Rock ‘n Roll Dance Club hosts dances Saturday, May 4 and 18 and June 1 and 15, at the Palm Ridge Rec Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the DJ begins the dancing evening at 6 p.m. He takes requests and plays music from the 1960s to today.
The club supplies cups and ice and members can bring beverages and/or snacks. Cost for members is $6 per dance; guests pay $8. Non-members can join at a dance for $10 a year, and there are badges for sale.
There are also several themed dances — May 4 is the Cinco de Mayo party with a themed pot luck. Dress up in fiesta attire and get pictures taken at the photo booth.
