Surprise sets lineup times for music festival

Multi-Platinum entertainer Chase Rice, one of country music’s few Diamond-certified songwriters, will headline the Out of the Park Music Fest on March 23.

This weekend's Out of the Park Music Fest in Surprise now has the lineup set for the main stage.
Headliner Chase Rice is set to go on at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at Mark Coronado Park, 15960 N. Bullard Ave.
The festival, which the city is producing with sponsors Auto-Owners Insurance and Ideal Insurance Agency, will end the spring training season after the final game between the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals earlier in the day.
The festival runs from 2-10 p.m., and tickets start at $20 per person for general admission in advance. Tickets move up to $30 the day of the show.
Bruce Cooper will be the special guest emcee for the event.
Here is the setlist of acts to appear:
DJT3: 2 p.m.
Michelle Moyer: 2:15pm
Kianna Martinez & The Grant Brothers: 2:30 p.m.
Kyle Mercer: 3 p.m.
Mara Justine: 4 p.m.
Jake Hoot: 5 p.m.
Huntley: 6 p.m.
Paul Russell: 7 p.m.
Chase Rice: 8:30 p.m.
Parking for the festival is free. There are lots available in the area surrounding Mark Coronado Park and Surprise Stadium.
The Surprise Stadium lot off Buck O’Neil Way is reserved for ADA parking only.
For the safety of pedestrians and attendees, there are road closures in place.
Northbound Bullard Avenue closed from Tierra Buena to Paradise lanes; southbound Bullard closed from Young Street to Tierra Buena.
East and westbound Paradise closed from Buck O’Neil to Bullard.
Buy a ticket to any Surprise spring training game and add on a $15 music festival ticket at checkout.
A festival ticket includes:
Access to food trucks and bar areas
Attractions like Axescape (Surprise local axe throwing company), Fast Pitch Baseball Challenge, yard games, cornhole, wiffle ball, and more
In an effort to enhance public safety, there is a bag policy.
Non-clear bags can be up to 5-by-8 inches in size. Clear bags can be up to 12-by-6-by-12 inches.
An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection upon entering. All individuals and bags are subject to search by event security.
Outside food and drinks are not allowed, with the exception of two factory-sealed water bottles (one-liter) per person and medical or infant needs.
Pets are not permitted at the festival, except for service animals.
