An international chain, Honest, has set up a location in Chandler.
Honest specializes in vegetarian Indian street food, made from scratch daily and dishes are cooked to order. It brags on using the freshest and highest quality ingredients and no frozen or processed products in its kitchens.
The Chandler store, located on the northwest corner of Alma School and Ray in Chandler, next to Cafe Rio, is the chain's first place in Arizona.
It's using the former Founding Fathers Kitchen space.
There are vegetarian pizzas Indian-Chinese dishes and Indian curries on the menu. There are breads, soups, desserts and puvlav — steamed Basmati Rice with signature spices and vegetables — as well.
Honest is located at 1050 W. Ray Road, Chandler. Reach the store at 480-306-6737 or at honestphoenix.com.
The hours are 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 5-9:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Mondays. It's closed Tuesdays.
