ADOT’s Motor Vehicle Division takes some hassle out of tax filing

The Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division has an online portal to assist taxpayers with the April 15 deadline approaching fast.

MVD’s online portal, azmvdnow.gov, provides a free summary of vehicle license tax and fees paid during 2023 for every vehicle registered in a tax filer’s name.

“This is the simplest way for customers to get this information for filing their taxes,” MVD Director Eric Jorgensen said.

,“Getting this report just takes a few seconds, and it’s much easier than going into each vehicle to collect all your registration forms and copying them for your tax records.”

To activate an account, visit azmvdnow.gov and follow the prompts. AZ MVD Now accounts are free and protected by several security protocols, which are explained on the site and in an accompanying “how to” video, transportation officials said.
