Available throughout May, Strawberry Lover has a strawberry cheesecake milkshake base topped with a strawberry shortcake ice cream pop, fresh strawberries, strawberry wafer cookies, strawberry milk crumb, strawberry sauce and whipped cream. The shake is $20, and $1 of each shake sold in May will go to the Ryan House.
OH Pool Memorial Day
Celebrate the long weekend at Hotel Valley Ho’s OH Pool, with music, food, cocktail specials, and celebrity athlete guest appearances. Former NFL Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Mark McMillian will be joining chef Russell LaCasce at the pool Saturday, Sunday and Monday to serve barbecue specials with his Grill’n McMillian hot sauce. Savor eats like grilled chicken wings, smoked elote, sticky icky spare ribs, and more.
Enjoy live music from resident DJs from 12–4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. A portion of the proceeds from the weekend will be donated to Ryan House. Reserve a day pass, daybed, cabana, or guestroom for access.

Brunch & Learn with chefs at Hearth ‘61
Explore seasonal flavors and chef-crafted recipes at this new summer series. One Saturday a month at noon, Hearth ’61 will hold a Brunch & Learn event, featuring a different theme and a demo from chefs. Enjoy an intimate setting in the private dining room as chefs show how to prepare a dish while guests sip the featured beverage. Plus, take home a recipe to test in the kitchen.
After the demo, savor a three-course brunch in the dining room, including the two featured demo courses, dessert and a paired glass of wine or cocktail. The series kicks off with Spring Veggies on June 8, Fresh pasta on July 13, Flavors of the Southwest on Aug. 10, and Sweets & Treats on Sept. 14. Reservations can be made at mountainshadows.com.
