Portable planetarium lands in Glendale

Foothills Library in North Glendale will play host to its next Planetarium Show April 6.

The next Planetarium Show in the Roadrunner Room at the Foothills Library from 2 to 3 p.m., and from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 6.
The library branch is at 19055 N. 57th Ave., Glendale.
This event is back by popular demand. The public can take a journey through the solar system with the Earth and Space Expedition Center’s portable planetarium.
Experience the planets, moons, dwarf planets or constellations from various cultures. The group will also discuss the upcoming solar eclipse. All ages are welcome.
All those interested in the presentation should note that the portable planetarium may cause discomfort for those who are sensitive to noise or moving images.
This project is supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
