Troop 2232 from Glendale used its cookie sales money to take eight girls on a memorable, educational week in New York City in 2022. The Scouts got to see the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, the Radio City Rockettes, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Ellis Island, Central Park, and Broadway shows. The trip cost around $1,800 per girl.

Thousands of girls in 90-plus communities across central and northern Arizona are preparing to show off their entrepreneurial skills with the launch of cookie season.
The Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council (GSACPC) will be selling cookies to the community from Monday, Jan. 15 to Sunday, Feb. 25.
The Girl Scout Cookie Program returns to foster the development of goal setting, money management, people skills, communication skills and decision-making skills in K-12 girls.
"The kickoff of the 2024 Girl Scout Cookie Season marks a significant milestone for thousands of girls as they begin or continue on their entrepreneurial journeys, learning the vital skills that will stay with them for the rest of their lives,” GSACPC co-CEO Mary Mitchell shared in a press release.
All nine classic Girl Scout Cookie favors are back including Thin Mints, Samoas, Girl Scout S’mores and more. And once again, money raised during Girl Scout Cookie Season will stay 100% local.
“Every package of cookies sold contributes to girl-led community projects, educational troop excursions, maintaining and improving our four Girl Scout camp properties across Arizona,” fellow GSACPC co-CEO Christina Spicer stated.
