Winter Waves at Kiwanis Wave Pool returns Dec. 27

Splash around in three-foot waves at the indoor, heated Kiwanis Wave Pool from Dec. 27 to 29, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Winter Waves. 

Each day will also include a holiday-themed coloring station, games and activities to celebrate the season, according to a city release.

Admission is $4 for ages 2 to 12 and $5 for ages 13 and up. Children under two are free. 

Tube rentals start at $5 and life jacket rentals are offered free of charge. The Snack Shack will be open for food and drink purchases.

To make your visit more enjoyable, the city advises visitors to be aware of the following safety rules:

  • While in the pool, children seven years and under must be within arm’s reach of someone at least 16 years, with a ratio of one adult to four children, at all times.
  • Only U.S. Coast Guard Type I, II, III Approved Life Jackets are permitted in the wave pool.
  • No outside food is permitted in the pool area.
