Tempe’s final Free Art Friday of the season takes place April 11

Posted

Join all the busy bees to make your own insect art, take a photo in a larger-than-life photo booth and fly around the music room at Tempe’s final Free Art Friday of the season on April 11, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The event takes place at the Edna Vihel Arts Center, 3340 S. Rural Road, according to a city release.

Free Art Friday is an event for children aged 6 months to 5 years and their grownups. Each event's art activities, music, sensory play and decorations are based on a theme that changes each month, the release explained.

Free Art Friday allows caregivers and their little ones to explore and create together through art projects, imaginative play and music.

This program is partially funded by a grant from the Tempe Diablos Charities, according to the release.
