Do you have a special talent that you want to show off? The Tempe Public Library is ready to give local performers a way to showcase their talents with the first-ever Tempe’s Got Talent Show.

Whether you are a musician, singer, dancer, poet, ballerina, magician, ventriloquist or whatever specialty you have, performers of all ages will be competing for a trophy and a top prize of a $100 gift card to the winner, a city release explained.

A $75 gift card will be given for second place and a $50 gift card for third place.

This family-friendly talent show is free to enter and open to all ages. All participants must sign a media permission form and anyone under 18 will need a permission slip form signed by a parent.

To enter, submit a video audition through March 1 by posting a 3 to 5-minute video on YouTube and sending a link to the library at tplprograms@tempe.gov. According to the release, qualifying performers will be notified by March 31.

The competition with the finalists will be held Saturday, April 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Tempe History Museum, which is across the plaza from the library at 809 E. Southern Ave.
