Tempe offers incentive to go paperless paying utility bills

Posted

Tempe has launched a sweepstakes to increase enrollment in paperless billing and autopay options for city utilities.

Two winners will be drawn to win a $500 Visa Gift Card at the conclusion of the sweepstakes on April 30, Tempe officials said in a release. The effort is in partnership with Paymentus Corporation.

To be entered, utility customers can do one of three things between now and April 30:

  • Sign up for autopay through Tempe’s utility payment portal.
  • Make three consecutive online payments for the billing cycles of February, March and April using Tempe’s utility payment portal.
  • Enroll in paperless billing through Tempe’s utility payment portal.

Tempe utility customers won’t miss out on utility bill newsletters by going digital, officials said. Tempe Today is available online.

For those interested in other ways to manage their city utilities while being environmentally conscious, the city offers an online portal for tracking water use and receiving high-use and leak alerts.
