Independent Newsmedia
Tempe Mayor Corey Woods has been appointed to the Arizona Legislature’s bipartisan Housing Supply Study Committee.
The committee is set to explore the state’s housing shortage and identify solutions. The first public meeting will be held at 1 p.m. on July 12.
Residents can attend the meeting in-person in House Hearing Room 1 at the Arizona State Capitol, located at 1700 W. Washington Street in Phoenix. The meeting will also be livestreamed at https://azleg.gov/liveproceedings/.
Woods has made housing a priority in Tempe, including starting the Hometown for All Initiative to work on getting residents more affordable housing options.
