Tempe's FanCon 2023 will be taking place Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Tempe Public Library, but the deadline is approaching for the events Wags and Whiskers competition.
FanCon is a free annual event featuring costume contests, artists and authors, shopping and activities for children and adults.
Fans of Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Anime and more are invited to gather at the Library Plaza, 3500 S. Rural Road, in costume from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Jan. 28.
The pop culture celebration also has a place for pets.
