Posted

The Tempe EnVision Center is a one-stop resource and resilience hub designed to boost community resilience, health, wellbeing and self-reliance — residents can take advantage of various programming from skill development to health resources and more.

The center aims to enhance residents' quality of life through job help, wellness classes, housing assistance, energy education, emergency preparedness and more, a city release explained.

Located inside EnVision Center, The Hive is where community meets technology with free internet access, one-on-one tech support and onsite resources such as 3D printers and robotics tools.

Residents can sign up now for activities like podcasting and iMovie workshops, a walk-in job fair, a mental wellness series and diabetes education classes.

Tempe EnVision Center is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and The Hive is open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, from noon to 6 p.m. and Tuesday and Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Upcoming  programs that residents can take advantage of include:

Mental wellness series - Each Tuesday, Feb. 4-25 | 5:30 to 7 p.m.

  • Join the YWCA for a free, four-part series that creates a space for Black women to share their personal journeys in mental wellness, inspire others and foster community. Each session features a mental health professional who reflects on her journey and aspirations, followed by interactive audience engagement. The series aims to empower participants, reduce stigma around mental health and connect individuals with resources and support networks. Learn more here.
