Salt River Project is hosting a demonstration in Tempe to showcase the capabilities of its underwater drones.
SRP uses specialized drones to help safely, efficiently and cost-effectively monitor power and water assets to help ensure reliability, a press release explained.
To showcase its technology, SRP is hosting an interactive demonstration at PERA Club Pool, 1 E Continental Drive, on Sept. 10 at 10 a.m.
The drone to be featured in the underwater demonstration has been used at nearly all SRP-operated dams and several other water assets, including canals, according to the release.
