Registration opens for Tempe fall classes, activities

Resident registration for Tempe’s fall classes, programs and leagues opened Aug. 12, and general registration begins Monday, Aug. 19.

The Tempe Opportunities brochure is now available, which means interested parties can peruse hundreds of different classes, programs and leagues, a city release explained. Look inside and find a variety of fun activities to keep people of all ages active, engaged and learning this fall.

Pick up the brochure at any city facility or view it online at tempe.gov/play.

Choose your own Dungeons & Dragons adventure, learn how to turn everyday items into extraordinary art, enroll in youth hoops or flag football, ramp up your swim skills, or break out your camera to learn more about photography, the release stated.

Classes are available for all ages at affordable prices and convenient times and locations. Check out options in aquatics, arts, boating, exercise and fitness, STEM, Spanish, sports and more.

Most classes begin the first week of September. Youth scholarships are available to those who qualify.
