Project Roots hosts fundraiser in Tempe June 20

Project Roots, a nonprofit organization committed to nourishing and educating communities in need through sustainable urban living practices, announced its upcoming fundraiser event at Chic Chef 77 in Tempe on June 20 at 7 p.m. 

The fundraiser aims to raise funds and awareness for Project Roots' mission of promoting a healthier, natural and more sustainable way of urban living, a press release explained. 

Guests attending the event can look forward to an evening filled with delicious food, community engagement and opportunities to support a meaningful cause. 

"We are thrilled to host our fundraiser at Chic Chef and grateful for the support of our community partners,'' Dionne Washington, co-founder and CEO at Project Roots, stated in the release. "This event is not just about raising funds; it's about coming together to make a positive impact and empower communities to lead healthier lives." 

Attendees will have the chance to purchase sponsorship packages, donate to the raffle or simply purchase a ticket to support Project Roots' efforts. By participating in the fundraiser, individuals and businesses can directly contribute to initiatives that promote sustainability and well-being in underserved communities, the release stated. 

"We invite everyone who shares our passion for sustainable living and community empowerment to join us at Chic Chef on June 20,'' Washington stated. "Together, we can make a difference and create lasting change."
