Police respond to gunshots fired in South Tempe

Posted

Several gunshots were fired early Sunday morning near the 1900 block of East Los Arboles in Tempe, but no injuries were reported, police said.

The shots were fired about 3:45 a.m. May 21. Police said neighbors told them they heard five to six gunshots at the home, which authorities said was an Airbnb.

Police said they were told there was a party at the location, and preliminary information is  there was an altercation outside the home when the shots were fired.

“Investigative units responded, conducted a search warrant at the Airbnb house party, and seized evidentiary items, including firearms,” police said in a release.
