Drivers near the Broadway Curve construction project will face overnight restrictions on roads and ramp closures along freeways Wendesday until early Friday morning, June 2, transportation officials said.
Eastbound and westbound Interstate 10 will be narrowed to two lanes at Broadway Road from 8 p.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. Friday, for fencing work, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. The westbound US 60 HOV ramp to westbound I-10 will be closed during the same period.
In addition, bridge work requires westbound I-10 to be narrowed to two lanes at Guadalupe Road from 8 p.m. today to 4 a.m. through Thursday morning, officials said.
Bridge work also will result in eastbound I-10 being narrowed to three lanes at Guadalupe Road from 8 p.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. Friday.
According to ADOT, the southbound SR 143 on-ramp at University Drive will be closed from 8 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday for concrete work. Transportation officials recommend using east- and westbound I-10 on-ramps at 32nd Street instead.
