The anticipated Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU is now accepting group booking requests in advance of its April 28 opening

Located in the heart of downtown Tempe, the hotel will feature nearly 36,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space and offers expansive views of the Arizona State University campus and Tempe cityscape, according to a press release.

“Whether for meetings and events or a business traveler’s home base, Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU offers a first-of-its-kind location and convenience,” said Todd Gagnon, general manager of Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU, in the release. “Downtown Tempe is thriving with attractions, headquarters, residents, and visitors, and Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU will be an incredible completion of an important downtown intersection with unique venue offerings.”

Upon completion, Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU will debut the city’s largest ballroom, the Salt River Ballroom, offering 15,000 square feet of flexible space for a variety of needs.

For smaller receptions, groups may also utilize the Sun Devil Ballroom on the hotel’s first floor, which offers floor-to-ceiling windows and access to an event lawn.

Additionally, Lucero, a rooftop lounge and terrace offering indoor and outdoor dining overlooking Phoenix’s West Valley from the 16th floor provides another venue.

The hotel is a $125 million investment and part of a public-private partnership with ASU and the city of Tempe.  Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU will be a lifestyle hotel, reflective of its natural surroundings and the unique local culture of Arizona, the release stated.
