Militarie Gun to perform March 31 in Tempe

Militarie Gun plays at The Beast on March 31 as part of the band’s spring tour.

Formed in 2020, Militarie Gun is defined by musical restlessness, a press release stated.

The band draws on a wide range of influences to make something that sounds combative yet accessible, and undeniably their own with echos of the unhinged guitar work of Born Against, the propulsive cadences of hip hop, the up-front bass of Fugazi — and most importantly, the hooks.

Militarie Gun’s songs are memorable, employing a melodic sensibility that’s just as informed by the work of Robert Pollard and Paul McCartney as it is by Black Flag, the release detailed.

Most recently, the band released "All Roads Lead To The Gun (Deluxe)" in October 2022 through their new label Loma Vista Recordings.

Information about the band can be found on its Instagram, Facebook or Twitter pages.
