Mega Millions ticket purchased in Tempe worth $112M

Posted

The only winning Mega Millions ticket nationwide for Friday’s drawing was purchased in Tempe, and it is worth $112 million, Arizona Lottery officials announced Saturday.

The ticket was sold at Winners Circle, 524 W. Broadway Road, and has a cash value of $49.95 million.

The winning numbers were 8, 10, 37, 54, and 69, and the gold Mega Ball was 22.

It is the second-largest Mega Millions jackpot won in Arizona history, following a $414 million win by a Glendale resident on June 9, 2020, according to the lottery.

The jackpot had been rolling since Dec. 27 after a California player won more than $1.2 billion.

The jackpot will reset to $20 million with a cash option of $8.9 million for Tuesday’s drawing.
