The Maricopa County Community College District has selected three finalists for the next executive vice chancellor and provost.
The search committee, comprised of college and community representatives, “has conducted a thorough screening and preliminary interviews with the applicants to identify those best suited for long-term success in the role,” according to a release.
Public forums with the finalists will take place 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26. The forums are open to students, employees and the public.
Each forum allows the audience to ask questions and provide feedback that goes to the chancellor for further consideration, the release stated.
The forums will take place at South Mountain Community College’s Student Union, 7050 S. 24th St., Phoenix.
The finalists are:
Lisa Amour has served as vice president at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Fla., since 2011. She leads the college’s strategic planning efforts.
Kimberly Britt has served as president of Phoenix College. She previously served as Phoenix College’s vice president of academic support services.
Leroy Hamilton Jr. has served as provost and vice president for academic affairs, special assistant to the president, interim provost among other roles.
