It is extremely disappointing and frightening for those whose skin happens to be Brown that a visit to a plaza could result in a kidnapping.
It is further disappointing and difficult to believe that the Tempe Police Department was completely oblivious to what was transpiring.
Going forward, I would like to believe that the Tempe Police Department does in fact respect its citizens and has their best interest in mind.
