Desert Botanical Garden temporarily closes for construction
Posted
Independent Newsmedia
The Desert Botanical Garden will be temporarily closed from July 4 to July 11.
The garden, located in Papago Park at 1201 N. Galvin Parkway, is shuttering for the week as construction takes place in the parking lot. The announcement came on the garden's official Twitter page.
The Desert Botanical Garden will reopen its doors on July 12, just in time for Flashlight Nights starting on July 16. Guests will be able to experience the desert after dark with plenty of activities, live music, treats, a farmer's market and more. Tickets can be purchased online.
It's also in time for the start of Desert Kids Camp, which begins July 13.
