Arizona, U.S. election discussion held in Tempe

A discussion on the 2024 election will be held by a group of organizations aimed at getting people to talk to each other across party lines.

The Arizona Democracy Resilience Network, Disagree Better Arizona, ASU Student Government, and Arizona Talks are hosting an “Arizona Talks: The Art of Democracy” 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at the ASU Art Museum, 51 E. 10th Street, Tempe.

Speakers will include Rebecca Rios, Former AZ Democratic leader, John Giles, Mayor of Mesa, Corey Woods, Mayor of Tempe, and more.

Giles and Woods are leading a group called Disagree Better Arizona aimed at getting more people to talk and find ways to agree or disagree more civilly. Also speaking will be Stan Barnes, president of Copper State Consulting Group and a former state legislator, and Mike Noble, CEO and Founder of Noble Predictive Insights.
