A free two-day celebration of Hawaiian and Polynesian culture is coming to Tempe this weekend.

Entertainment, island lifestyle product vendors, food vendors offering island culinary delights, and cultural displays and demonstrations, will be part of the scene at the annual Arizona Aloha Festival this weekend in Tempe.

The event goes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 15-16, at Tempe Beach Park at Tempe Town Lake, 80 W. Rio Salado Parkway.

The event is family-friendly and alcohol-free.

Cuisine favorites on hand will include Island-style plate lunches, laulau, poi, kalua pork, manapua (steamed pork buns), Hawaiian-style teriyaki, fresh tropical fruit drinks, and more.

The entertainment schedule features cultural performing groups from Arizona, Las Vegas, California, and Hawaii.
