72SOLD affiliate Hague Partners has announced the acquisition of The Midland Team, a residential and commercial real estate group from the Midland Real Estate Alliance brokerage based in Tempe.
That adds 12 Realtors to the 72SOLD team in Arizona, bringing the total up to 282. It also adds a third brick-and-mortar location for the firm. Tunberg, who founded The Midland Team in 1999, will stay on as managing broker for the new Tempe branch. The residential side of the business is now managed by 72SOLD.
“As a team lead at Midland I’m excited about our futures with 72SOLD and Hague Partners,” said Tunberg in a prepared statement. “Our vision aligns with Greg Hague for a very bright future with all of the disruption in the market, including iBuyers. We will be much stronger with this partnership and alliance. Greg is at the forefront of the real estate industry.”
The Midland Team closed $65 million in sales in 2020 and is projected to close $90 million in 2021. The office is located at 1611 E. Warner Road, which allows agents to give buyers and sellers more personalized service across metro Phoenix.
72SOLD, founded by Arizona’s Greg Hague, now operates in 38 states. The firm offers home sellers a program to sell in 72 hours, avoid showings, choose their closing date and stay in the home for up to six months after closing. The Arizona Cardinals earlier this year announced a multi-year deal for 72SOLD to become the team’s official real estate partner.

The Tempe acquisition comes shortly after 72SOLD acquired The Real Estate Firm in Gilbert.
