A new seven-story mixed-use development with 105 dwelling units and 120 square feet of commercial floor area is planned on 0.88 acres east of the southeast corner of South Rural Road and East Apache Boulevard in Tempe.

The Tempe Development Review Commission is to make a recommendation to the City Council on a zoning map amendment, planned area development overlay to establish development standards and a development plan review for The Marshall on Spence. The commission meets for a study session at 5:30 p.m. and a meeting at 6 p.m. May 13 in the City Council Chambers, 31 E. Fifth St.

Anthony Vitale of CHA Consulting is the applicant.
