The next edition of the monthly “WHAM Nights” Family Paint Party — a paint night with a twist — will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 4 at WHAM Community Art Center, 16560 N. Dysart Road.

These events are the first Friday of every month and promise a fun, family evening of painting, art trivia, raffle prizes, beverages, and snacks. Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks.

The June theme will be “Cherry Blossoms.” WHAM artist CARree Tolle leads the session.

Paint Nights serve as an ideal date night, girls night out or fun family evening.

This is an evening class, Paricipants are asked to enter at the southside classroom entrance, as the front gallery will be closed.
Cost is $25 per non-member and $15 per member. All supplies are provided

This class will have a minimum of four participants and a maximum of 20.

• The next day, adults can enjoy a WHAM Mini Workshop with a silk scarf theme from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 5.
These workshops are suitable for ages 16 and up. Each workshop will provide tips, ideas and additional skills to advance personal artworks or simply gain the experience of enjoying the arts in a relaxing environment.

Each workshop is taught by a professional artist bringing a variety of mediums and skill level to the classroom. This month’s instructor is Diane Freeman.

The course fee is $35 for a non-member and $25 for members.
