This is the last weekend for Surprise residents to register to vote in the Nov. 3 general election.

Voters must have their online or paper applications turned in by Monday, Oct. 5.

Ballots will be mailed out to those on the early-voting list beginning Wednesday, Oct. 7.

Surprise City Clerk Sherry Aguilar, who administers elections for the city, said residents should begin receiving them a few days later.

Ballots for military stationed overseas were already mailed out Sept. 19.

The last day to request a ballot by mail is Friday, Oct. 23.

To register to vote online, log on to recorder.maricopa.gov and search for elections registration, or visit servicearizona.com.

Residents can also call the City Clerk’s officer for a paper registration form at 623-222-1200.
