Volunteers in Surprise are needed to provide free tax return preparation for low-to-moderate income individuals and families through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.

No prior tax preparation is needed; training will be provided.

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities within the VITA program.

Sessions run through Nov. 2.

The VITA program is run by A New Leaf.
