Utility work to temporarily close 2 Surprise streets

Upcoming utility work is causing a pair of temporary road closures in southwest Surprise.

Autoshow Avenue from Cactus Road to just south of Sweetwater Avenue is closed through Saturday, Dec. 18.

The road is closed to through traffic at Waddell Road. Business traffic is maintained to all dealerships.

A detour to Cotton Lane is posted.

Cotton Lane will be closed between Cactus and the entrance to Legacy Traditional School between Dec. 18 and Jan. 8.

The road will be closed to through traffic at Waddell.

Local and school traffic will have access south to the Legacy Traditional School entrance.

A detour to Autoshow Avenue will be posted.
