The city of Surprise is hosting its second community workshop for its General Plan 2040 process.
It's scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31 at Mountainside High School, 32919 N. Center St., Wittmann.
This is an open-house style community workshop with existing land use and growth area informational boards, proposed vision and values, as well as summarized feedback received from residents in round one of public outreach.
This is the second in a series of planned community meetings to help shape the new General Plan 2040. The plan is projected to be complete and voted on by City Council in late 2023 and will be placed on the ballot for a citizen vote in August 2024.
