Mitchell Spiegel, a junior at Willow Canyon High School, won the statewide Association for Career and Technical Education of Arizona poster contest.

The contest was open to secondary and postsecondary CTE students in all CTE courses. Mitchell is a graphic design student at Willow Canyon currently enrolled in the 5-6 Honors course. He has taken graphic design all three years of his high school experience so far.

“Mitchell’s poster showcased creativity and skill, highlighting the strength of CTE pathways for students’ careers and futures,” said Jim Grieshaber, ACTEAZ president. “ACTEAZ is proud to celebrate the incredible talent and creativity displayed in this year’s CTE Month Poster Contest. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to each of the participants. Our panel of judges was truly impressed by the incredible skills in all of the submissions.”

With his win, Mitchell received a $300 award, and his poster will be publicized on ACTEAZ media outlets and shown at the 2025 Arizona CTE Summer Conference.

The Association for Career and Technical Education of Arizona is an organization dedicated to professional development and advocacy for the advancement of Career and Technical Education.
