Winter Break Camp is right around the corner
The city of Surprise Parks and Recreation Department is offering a two-week Winter Break Camp that will run Dec. 20-30. Camp registration will begin Wednesday, Nov. 17 for Surprise residents and Wednesday, December 8 for non-residents.
This camp provides opportunities for youth currently enrolled in Kindergarten through sixth grades to have fun in a safe and supervised program. Children can take part in on-site activities such as arts and crafts, games, sports, field trips and more.
Camp will be at Sierra Montana Recreation Center located at 14861 N. Spring Lane, and will be available from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The fee is $25 per day for Surprise residents and $29 for non-residents. There is a registration fee of $10 for residents and $30 for non-residents. The program will fill quickly, so it is a good idea to register early to ensure a space.
With daily reassessments in relation to COVID-19; rules, procedures and general guidance are subject to change. Participants must adhere to guidelines set forth by the CDC.
To download a registration packet, visit surpriseaz.gov/recreation. Once the packet is completed, bring it to the Parks and Recreation Department office, 15960 N. Bullard Ave., to finalize your registration.
