Surprise spring training times revealed; tickets on sale soon

Series champs will play Royals to open 2024 schedule

Fresh off a World Series championship earlier this month, the Texas Rangers have announced their game times for next spring’s slate at Surprise Stadium, along with their roommates, the Kansas City Royals.

The city of Surprise also announced spring training single game tickets, which start at $8, go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14. Tickets can be purchased at SurpriseStadium.com, or at 623-222-2222.

Opening day is Friday, Feb. 23 with the Rangers and Royals squaring off. Surprise Stadium will host 30 games with matchups including the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers and the National League Champions, the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Most games start at 1:05 p.m. with the exception of three night games that start at 6:05 p.m. The night games are March 5 (Cubs vs. Royals), March 14 (Cincinnati Reds vs. Rangers) and March 20 (Los Angeles Angels vs. Royals).

There is also a special 12:05 p.m. day game scheduled on the final day March 23 between the Rangers and Royals.

All games are subject to dynamic pricing. Service charges and processing fees will apply to online and phone orders.

The Surprise Stadium Box Office, 15960 N. Bullard Ave., will open for in-person ticket sales beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3. Additional information on 2024 special events, promotions and special offers will be released at a later date.

Offering an elevated seating experience, the Michelob “Ultra” Legends Deck gives fans the ultimate game day package with a private bar, drink voucher and a premium meal catered by local Surprise-area restaurants like Saigon Kitchen, Bonfire Craft Kitchen and Taphouse and Rio Mirage Café. Tickets start at $50 per person.

Fans can also watch their favorite teams in a casual, yet diamond-like setting from one of the suites at Surprise Stadium. A suite experience includes 20 tickets, in-catering options, premier indoor and outdoor seating and four VIP parking passes.
