Surprise releases Founders Day Party schedule

The city of Surprise has released the time schedule for its Founder’s Day Party over the weekend.

The main activities are from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.

The 1960s car show runs from 2 to 8 p.m.

The annual tree lighting in front of Surprise Stadium takes place from 6:25 to 6:35 p.m.

Other activities in the show are

  • Drone Show (7:30 to 7:40 p.m. and 8:50 to 9 p.m.)
  • Santa’s Workshop & Photos (2 to 9 p.m.)
  • Ice Sculpture Demo (5 to 7 p.m.)
  • Balloon Rides and Glow (6 to 9 p.m.)

There will also be a carnival from 2 to 9 p.m. on Dec 3 and noon to 5 p.m. on Dec 4.
