Surprise provides fall break camp in October

The Surprise Parks and Recreation Department offers a one-week fall break camp for youth now enrolled in kindergarten through eighth grade.

Daily activities includes arts and crafts, games, sports and a field trip.

Fall break camp is from from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, Oct. 9 through 13 at Sierra Montana Recreation Center, 14861 N. Spring Lane.

Resident registration began Sept. 11. Camp is $30 per day, with a $10 per child registration fee for residents.

Non-resident registration begins, Monday, Sept. 18. For non-residents camp is $34 per day, with a $30 per child registration fee.

The program will fill quickly, so early registration is advised.

To download a registration packet, visit surpriseaz.gov/recreation and click on the “Break Camps” category. Completed packets must be submitted to the Parks and Recreation office, 15960 N. Bullard Ave. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
