Surprise pre-teens can enjoy night of appropriate fear

Surprise Parks and Recreation has prepared its October teen rec night.
The theme this month is Fear Factor and it is from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday , Oct. 6 at Sierra Montana Recreation Center, 14861 N. Spring Lane.
Dance mixes, lights, contests, games and themed events are just some of the activities kids can enjoy at one of the city's Rec Nights at Sierra Montana.
All dances are $5 for residents or $10 for non-residents and are meant for ages 11 to 14.
Registration may be done online or in person the night of the dance but space is limited so early registration is encouraged. Concessions will be available for purchase.
