The Surprise Pops Band will perform 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26 at the Valley Vista Performing Arts Center, 15550 N. Parkview Place, Surprise.
The concert is free, but concert-goers are asked to bring non-perishable food items for the Valley View Community Food Bank, which serves those in the Northwest Valley.
The concert’s theme of “Unforgettable Melodies” will highlight music from “The Wizard of Oz,” including “Over the Rainbow” and selections by Hoagy Carmichael, Ray Charles, George Gershwin and Henry Mancini.
The Surprise Pops Band’s conductor is Clark Chaffee.
